5th Heswall (Methodist) Beavers are the youngest section within the Scout Group.
Membership of the Beaver Colony is for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 8.
The Beavers usually meet for an hour each Friday during school term time. The leaders, approved and trained by the Scout Association, provide an informal programme of fun, friendship and challenge appropriate to the age group, to introduce youngsters to Scouting and prepare them for progression into Cubs and Scouts when the time comes.
